HUSTLE LESSONS - ST. JOHN'S CHURCH IN ROCK HILL As the Bee Gees sang,
"You should be daaaancin', yeah!"
John Travolta introduced the Hustle to the world in the 70s and we
are still doing the Hustle at all the area dance studios and clubs.
Marie Izzo will teach the basic and standard steps of Hustle that are
danced in these local dance spots. Marie is a member of the prestigious
Hustle Hall of Fame, teaches Social Dance at Winthrop University and
has her own dance studio. She was the feature dancer in the movie "Shake,
Rattle and Roll" and performed on the Phil Donahue Television Show
in the 90s.
Join us on February 3, 10, 17 and 24 as we learn the standard steps
of Hustle. You do not need a partner. We begin PROMPTLY at 7:30 p.m.
and dance until 9 p.m. Invite your family and friends. You do not need
a partner.
Admission is a $20 a person donation to the children's building. St.
John's has a big and beautiful hardwood floor. Wear dance shoes or leather-soled
shoes. Rubber-soled shoes will not slide.
